Spanish Classes

“Hola, como estás?” Feel the warmth of Spanish speakers through language. Spanish is the 4th most spoken language in the world, and it is filled with feeling, emotion, and a good sense of drama when spoken. Enjoy the lively  language of the  cheerful  Hispanic culture. Participate in dynamic classes that emphasize communication, allowing you to converse with Spanish speakers from Spain to Argentina and all the ones around the world.

French Classes

Learn about the joys of speaking French in this beginner course. French is a beautiful language and is known as the language of culture. It is the international Language of cooking, fashion, art, and dance!

Portuguese Classes

Portuguese classes at Lingua Language Center Florida

This course teaches basic grammar structures through conversation, oral drills and role-play. Designed for beginners. Our innovative methodology makes this both a fun and educational class environment, where learning is made easy! Study Portuguese with us!

American Language and Culture

Youth American Culture

This course focuses on critical thinking and debate, as well as reading and writing skills through research projects. Students will learn the language of the American civics, study vocabulary related to US history and culture, and will engage in spirited conversation practice with peers regarding cultural aspects of the regional United States. 

The course content includes learning new vocabulary related to history and discussions will include topics such as the history of the colonists, founding fathers, immigration, roles and responsibilities of federal, state, and local governments; the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government; landmark Supreme Court cases that have shaped US life and culture, and the rights and obligations of all American citizens.

Advanced Grammar Skills

Youth Grammar

This course is designed to build upon existing knowledge in order to enable students to improve upon their understanding and use of English grammar structures and how to employ them effectively for improved accuracy. The course focuses on developing both students’ awareness of the key nuances and patterns of English grammar and control of the form and meaning of highly advanced grammar structures, with particular emphasis on those used in academic and professional writing projects.

Literature and Composition

Youth Literature

This course is designed to enable students to analyze literature, including poetry, short stories, novels/novellas, and plays. Students will develop an understanding of literary themes, devices and terminology to enable them to begin to express critiques and analysis of literature by reading and analyzing texts as they explore concepts like character, setting, structure, perspective, figurative language, and literary analysis in the context of literary works. Students will write literary analysis papers as well as other essays and will present their topics for the class. Students will also be engaged in creative writing.

Advanced Business Skills

Youth Business

This is a two-part preparatory course (2 sessions of 12-week each) for international business executives, professionals, and business administration students who are or will be conducting business in the global market. Students will improve upon existing business language skills by developing specific workplace vocabulary and enhancing presentation and public speaking, through professional communication methods, while fostering an understanding of how the student can apply these professional language skills to succeed in their chosen fields.
