LINGUA collects data about its clients as it does business with them, as they enroll in a LINGUA program or use a service. LINGUA provides students with information on their records, including but not limited to pre-assessment, progress and final reports. LINGUA does not provide directory information on students –name, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, date and place of birth, courses taken, grades and attendance- to any third party, except for disclosures permitted by the law to accrediting commissions, government and insurance agencies, and financial organizations. Lingua School Privacy Policy at South Florida’s Language School follows strict standards to safeguard personal information on its clients and/or vendors. These standards include limiting access to data and regularly testing our security technology.
The information that LINGUA discloses to its employees or independent contractors regarding LINGUA’s clients and/or vendors is privileged and confidential. It is intended only for the use of providing the language services agreed upon to the individual or entity whose confidential data is disclosed. LINGUA’s Staff and independent contractors are notified in writing that any dissemination, distribution or copy of such data is strictly prohibited and penalized by the Law. Medical Information: We do not share our clients’ medical information with health care centers except in case of an emergency or unless we have explicit consent from the client. We strive for accurate records. Please tell us if you receive any incorrect communications from us so we can make the appropriate changes.
